Organizational Summary

The Division of Developmental Disabilities assures the opportunity for individuals with developmental disabilities to receive quality services and supports, participate meaningfully in their communities, and exercise their right to make choices.

Developmental Disability Services for Adults
DDD serves adults, aged 21 and older, with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Home and Community Based Services

DDD home and community-based services (HCBS) help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live more independently in the community. They are delivered to people in their own homes and communities through a network of over 500 Medicaid provider agencies, and self-directed employees and vendors. They are person-centered services, meaning they are tailored to the person’s needs, preferences and goals.
